6-4-20   THOUGHTS

I’m in a  “FROM...TO”   thinking mode this morning.  The conversion of a sinner to a saint is most awesome!  It is God’s doing!   DARKNESS TO LIGHT!
Rom 4:17b   God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.
Col 1:13   For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,
May I suggest that one cannot be RESCUED and not TRANSFERRED!  
1Pet 2:9   But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
The conversion is “OUT OF...    INTO...”
Eph 2:3-10   Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. 4   But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,  5  even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6  and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7  so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8  For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9  not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.  10  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
1Th 2:12 so that you would walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.
2Pet 1:4   For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of [the] divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.
2Pet 1:10-11   Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; 11  for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.

My Prayer:
Oh wonderful God of all, thank you for rescuing us and for transferring us into your kingdom, the Church.  Help us to proclaim your great and awesome glory.  Train us in our walk in the light.   Help our hearts to be one in your dear son.
